The Apostles of Nationalism – Voices from Denmark, Norway and Sweden
We meet Queen Margrethe, who turns into Yahya Hassan, and EU President Barroso. We meet a happy trio, congratulating each other for being Norway. And we meet a Swede who lives in Copenhagen, and who wonders whether you really have to smash eggs to make an omelet.
The Apostles of Nationalism – voices from Denmark, Norway and Sweden is a show in three acts: “European Dream Speech”, ”Vi er Norge” og ”Vid det svarta vattnet” are displayed simultaneously in the three countries.
The performance is shown the 3rd of March 2014 as a culmination of a large Nordic cooperation about nationalism between the Nordic national scenes Dramaten in Stockholm and Nationaltheatret in Oslo and CaféTeatret in Copenhagen.
After the three acts, a panel discussion will take place at the Theatre Museum in the Court Theatre scene under the title: Art and nationalism.
Panel
Carl Christian Ebbesen
Mayor of Culture in Copenhagen, Dansk Folkeparti.
Zaki Youssef
Composer, actor and playwright.
Klaus Rothstein
Critic, commentator, journalist and presenter.
Moderator
Robert Tranekær Klemmensen
