Did you know that we remember the past and imagine the future in the same part of our brain?

MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE is Sort/Hvid transformed into a labyrinth of a museum experience: A portal into possible and impossible futures. You will be guided through a staged museum, travelling through time to a place somewhere between the past, present, and future.

New art pieces by the three contemporary artists Helene Nymann, Ferdinand Ahm Krag and Studio ThinkingHand are staged by Sort/Hvid and Christian Lollike. The artists’ installations challenge your experience of time and your role in history. What story will be told in the future about our time? What will you pass on?

MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE is created in a substantial collaboration between Sort/Hvid, Kunsthal Aarhus and Aarhus Teater. The museum is created by artists from different fields and followed closely by dramaturg, curator and ph.d. student Anders Thrue Djurslev who focusses on art’s portrayal of time in his research.
